Anyone here in Seville this week? 
A lovely Mexican friend of my wife is heading for Seville in the next couple of days and would like to see some flamenco. I was wondering if there was anyone here based in Seville who might be able to show her a peña or recommend a reasonably priced tablao?

Simon, you should write to Luciano, I'm not sure about the exact dates but I think he's spending the month in Sevilla.

Los Gallos was alright, I liked El Carboneria better.....Someone told Arenal was good but I've never been.

What days are your friend there?

I'll be back in Seville after a week of work in not so sunny London saturday afternoon.

My housemate has her finger on the pulse for most of the shows going on so could ask her for some recommendations...

Casa de la Memoria (calle cuna) has daily shows at 19:30 and 21:00: http://www.casadelamemoria.es/

El Arenal is rated slightly higher than Los Gallos, or so I've been told by Tino van der Sman.
