5 months struggle

Hi All.

I like to share something with you!

5 months ago, I started to practice Zapateado en Re, from Sabicas, also played by Paco Pena.
And finally, finally I can play it by heart now ( or as we say, by head )
It stil sounds to nothing ( like s**t)
but for me the biggest part is done!

Now I have to practice it another half a year, and hopefully, it gets a little tasty by then.

Ofcourse I tell you this, becouse I am a happy man now, but also, if you struggle with something, well, there is always a fool who is working a whole year, just to play one song!!! (and there are songs, I worked a lot longer on.)

So, don't dispare!

greetings, Peter.

Peter, keep at it! I have the Sabicas tabs and CD for that zapateado, and there is NO WAY that I could even start playing that!

Like you said, in 5 more months you will sound even better! ;)

Merle

Hi Merle,
thank you for your kind words,
If you keep progressing like this, you can start playing it soon enough!
bye, Peter.

Hi michael, Thanks!
I did not see Tino around, wel, a few weeks ago I saw him and some other Paco Pena students on television, In a workshop with Tomatito.
perhaps this is an interesting site for you http://www.flamencoheeren.com/english/dsl.htm
It is a Spanish flamencoschool where he teaches.
Peter.
