"El Balilla" - 9 year old ...

Normally I'm not a big fan of Pop Idol/ X Factor type shows but last month a 9 year old kid Raul "El Balilla" from Cartagena has really captured the public imagination in Spain with his voice. These are really recent postings in the last couple of weeks although there are quite a few older videos of him on youtube.

Just check this out and look at the judges faces fall when they hear him.
Singing Camarons classic, Como Agua (Spain has taken this off youtube so this is from Turkey)

and here really raising the roof with Jose Merces "al Amanacer"

And here on daytime TV singing Camarons "la cava de los Gitanos"

Does anyone know what the blanca in the third video is?

Looks like he's enjoying himself. Hope he doesn't get smothered by over-zealous coaching/contracts/endless TV-shows.

I think where you are coming from is like when I produce a decent photograph (in my humble opinion) a lot comments (not here, so much) are what camera did you use? It's an innocent enough question, but the subtext might read "I could do that too, if I had the same camera", until I tell them it was an iPhone
