How to remove a dent from a polished...

Hi everybody
I've just bought a new flamenco guitar and it is awesome but there is a little thing that makes me angry
there is a small dent in the neck close to the first fret
Is there any kind of polish I can use to solve this problem?

If the neck is lacquered which I assume it is.. it is difficult to fix. If you want to remove the finish you can apply a damp cloth and heat the other side with an hot iron and the wood will absorb the moisture and swell. You then need to reapply the finish.....personally I wouldnt bother.

Look on that dent as a badge of honor, much as you would look on a dueling scar on the cheek in the 19th century. If you play the guitar the way it ought to be played, it won't be the last dent or scratch.

Cheers,

Bill

Exactly, get used to the fact that guitars have scratches.

Its like owning a dune buggy and complaining about sand getting
all over it.

A modification I offer to any guitar...plus quick break in. My prices have gone up however.

Not appropriate for this post; but - nice rosette.

It's very "crusades-ish" isn't it?

Hermanos Sanchis Lopez 1F ARCE (maple back and sides). It's had a rough life, obviously, but man it sounds good for being a poor factory creation.

Well, looks in pretty good shape in the pic. in spite of the gore. (Sangre y arena quizas?)

And I'm glad you're not one of those guitar snobs who only play 'famous name' instruments.

I also have a couple of inexpensive 'factory creations' that play pretty good, too. . .
