Just wanted to say that my upcoming CD "Rainy Highway" will be releasing very soon. :) Recording, mixing, and mastering is officially done, so now I just need to get the ball rolling with CD replication! The album has been in the works for a few years, and I'm incredibly excited to share it with you guys. As a preview, here's the first track on the album: "Last Dance", a composition of mine that is dedicated to the Brazilian guitarist Yamandu Costa.
Holy moly that's some great playing and composition. Amazing work Daniel! I'd buy your album for sure. Will it be on iTunes or something similar?
Hi John! Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yep, I will be releasing it on iTunes as well as a physical release, which will be available through my website.
Cheers Daniel. Lots of influences and yet very coherent (Antonio Lauro to Paco and John), I'll be listening again.
During the development I suddenly realised that it was just crying out for upright bass, but maybe that's just me.
D.
Thanks David! I actually wrote this piece for Yamandu Costa, and got a chance to play it for him when he played in Minneapolis. :) :) Yes, a bass would be great to solidify the Brazilian rhythm... maybe for the next album Adrian will have to learn upright bass... ;)
