Alegrias por baile

This was part of an exhibition performance as part of the annual festival we have here in DC we are supposed to have around feria time, but this one was late and was last june. Don't know who filmed it but came across it on youtube. The singers are Carlton Ashton and Hector Marquez.

Really gorgeous, sounds like sunshine. Its amazing to see people with ancestors from all over the world playing this music. The Andalusians should be proud of their musical heritage.

That abanico you use Ricardo for the extended rasqueado is it just P A I or do you use the pinky as well or is the pinky sort of a counter weight to increase momentum?.

hmmm, well I use a couple different ones. P A I yep use that, P am P, is the really fast one, and the hard triplets are just up and down with the entire hand.
