I'm three fingers in to a glass of Highland Park, painting the worst rendition of Isaac Blessing Jacob by Giotto that anyone has ever seen (and simultaneously destroying my own version of the streets of Ardales with the same colors - goodbye white buildings!) and arguing with a mormon about ObamaCare.
Before becoming an artist, I used to work in two places that gave me a distinct view of universal healthcare in the US. 1) I worked for the House Ways and Means Committee in Massachusetts the year we wrote RomneyCare and; 2) soon after that I worked for one of the major hospitals in Boston in the department that oversaw income received from the government. I can tell you first hand that the amount of tax dollars spent on the uninsured is amazingly, SPECTACULARLY higher than one can possibly imagine.
It goes back to the whole anti-smoking campaign; these laws have nothing to do with the smoker, but more to do with those suffering from the second-hand smoke instead. ObamaCare is going to be WAY cheaper over the long term than if the structure before ObamaCara continued unaltered.
It is, it's "**** in Off-Topic", don't know why it was titled "**** in General", Now if it was "**** in Classified", or "**** in Tabs" that might be a problem. However it's "**** in Off-Topic", so **** here should be ok ...
