canning salsa and Jose Merce

I spent the morning preparing and canning salsa. While doing this I was listening to only Tangos.
I came to the conclusion that Jose Merce's Aaaaaaaaaaa kill me, annoy me. At a certain point I could recognize him from the first line, I deleted a bunch of his songs. Listening for 4 hours straight of Tangos allows you to do a good cleanup.

Mixed in there was a piece from, can't remember his name, he came to the States and produced a bunch of learning material with Mel Bay, Juan somthing. Man, what an amateur compared to the rest of what I was listening to. I actually walked up to see if if was a recording from a student. I am no expert but had he stayed in Spain he would have been nothing. Juan Serrano, that's it. I know many of you will disagree, but it's just my opinion, does not mean much.

I know what you mean, nevertheless I like the guy. I think it depends a lot in what you listen from him. For instance, I really like his playing in here:

Yes that is a lot better than what I heard, more fun that is, but still not a the level of the other music I got. But with the palmas and singing it makes the whole thing fun and alive.
I have to admit I don't have much of his music, two pieces that played really stood out from the rest of the music. So can't judge all of the man's work based on just 2 pieces right! So I retract and modify: the stuff that played, and that I deleted, was simple and boring.

Thanks for the bulerias!
