Yes, it was quite entertaining to lose one of the most knowledgeable and contributing members. Not to mention the challenges he initiated and the free memberships he gave out.

Jason is definitely a knowledgeable guitarist and he’s a great guy who contributed a lot to this forum. No one wanted him to go but unfortunately his argy-bargy with Corey went a bit out of hand. A lot of members here tried to calm him down but I’m afraid didn’t work

What do you mean out of hand? Corey got the treatment he deserved. Compare Jason to Corey on a technical level. One is a world-class flamenco player and the other is a 4th rate hack. A pretty objective and defensible statement it seems to me. For instance, I'm nearly 50, been playing for 10 years, with a full-time job, no nails, and can still manage to sound better than Corey! Ok, I don't know much about flamenco (other than reading tabs) but who's to say Corey does either...

i dont think you could even put them in the same room.
you could, what would happen next would be very entertaining indeed
Guess foro is missing out on drama these days? Good idea...after couple days drop in Ruben to really get it going. And blackshear and Vega with some un tuned tops...then check in on what's going on in there after a few weeks.

Is there any chance of inviting him back? Surely, he wasn't banned for eternity...

My friend, I think there's been some misunderstanding here. I never compared these two chaps; specifically their guitar playing skills! When Corey posted a video trying to teach something while he was reading from a sheet , I was one of the first people here who suggested to him that he should not teach.
To be honest towards the end I got bored with all that shouting and yelling between them; I went straight back to practicing as soon as I finished my pop corn
