tell me about this palo

I was having a hard time finding this online, so i uploaded it. can someone tell me the history behind this cante and form?

its on the magna anthology

It’s a Carcelera (usually about prison – calabozo is prison cell)

Al subir por la escalera
en el primer calabozo
oi una voz que decia
lastima de tan buen moxo
con la libertad perdia

would it not be Mozo ?..like a young guy ..or worker....some youth kinda thing...

have to say i do not know much about this type of song but have this for you ..
Carceleras - a type of Tonás, originally sung by incarcerated gypsies held in the prisons of Andalucia. It is one of the oldest Flamenco song forms describing the singer's loss of freedom and life in jail.

its interesting that i was drawn to this (and the image it inspired me to choose for the video)
