RE: Make your request for tablature here (in reply to Billyboy)
malaguena is a style in flamenco, like solea or buleria. I dont know if paco ever recorded the Lecuona Malaguena, the most famous versions are Sabicas or Romero. It is on the net in seveal of the tab site in bastardized format, the version at Affedis is close, but Im told there is only one correct version and it is not on the net. I dont know about the sheet music that might be available but I cant read it, so maybe you can. You also posted on learning beginning flamenco, you'll save yourself years of grief by finding a good teacher, if one is not available in yr area, then you'll have it harder. There is a lot available on the various forums, but there is bad advice also. A good place to start since you asked is a present post on picado in this forum but I dont remember who posted it, I think Roberto. Excellent description. Now translating that into meaning for the student is the hard part. That is where the teacher comes in. I cant learn from the written word, maybe you can good luck.

Wow,.. I think you found a song which Ive never heared of Paco. Crazy!
It is Malguena by Lecuona on Paco's "Ricital de Guitarra de Paco de Lucia" from 1971. It is performed with 5 other guitarists (Ramon, Enrique de Melchor, Cepero, Isidro Sanlucar, and Julio Vallejo), a real guitar army sound! It is pretty much the Sabicas solo version orchestrated for guitar ensemble. but Paco added some super long picados at the end, it is really intense! Check out the bulerias on that same album.
I've the score to Paco Pena's Mantilla y Peina but I'm not exactly that great at reading scores I must admit. Anyone got it in powertab, guitarpro etc format? Simple text/pdf tabs would be fine too.

No one knows anywhere I might be able to get the tab for pinonate by paco do they? I've seen videos of Grisha playing it but I'm not good enough to figure out how to play it by watching the video.

Hi! I have a high priority question!!!
Ill play for a dance class in some weeks at a semester ending party.. Its a big one.. 100teacher...hundreds of pupil in many different dance-styles.. like flamenco, jazzdance,hiphop,..ballet and so on. I will play alone for the class and need a good solea por buleria falseta which is modern but with good easy understanding accents in the compas. It can be as long as a copla or better a bit shorter.. I know some good. But I need easyer one, coz I dont want that the pupils get out of compas coz of the hard accents... Does somebody have some good sol po bul falsetas for dance?? Ok traditional are good, too. Im thinking on using one of Pacos falsetas.. I will be very very thankfull for your falsetas. Im happy with good ones composed by forum-members, too! (^_-)
Request: 'Cipres' by Quique Paredes (in reply to Doitsujin)
Hi, Does anyone have the tab to Quique Paredes' bulerias, 'Cipres'? If possible, in powertab/guitarpro format. Some nice parts there I'd like to learn (that's if I can't learn the whole thing).
