RIP Alvin Lee

RIP. Just found out he died today. His performance at Woodstock was an inspiration.

Amen.

Our member, Kate's husband Harold was the sound engineer for Ten Years After, including their Woodstock performance, I believe. Giving Hendrix a run for his money.

I saw them live at Reading Festival (where I lived) in 1972. Along with Curved Air, Edgar Broughton, Genesis, Focus, Magma, ELO, The Faces and Status Quo. I was 16 and in a band. That was a very, very good weekend.

Going Home, Alvin. Taking your big 335 with you, I trust.
