USPS shipping prices have increased ...

I think that shipping costs in StringsByMail have got high.

For a simple package Hannabach priced 13.99 dollars the shipping cost for Greece became 13.45 when it was last week 9.45 dolars or less.

Of course its not StringsByMail fault.

You can check it out yourself.

p.s. From StringsByMail told me that USPS were updating some things in their data file this weekend.

Same for me too. I ordered a bunch of stuff from them a couple of weeks back. Still the same shipping cost as last year, to a USA address.

13$ is not much for greece???

for france it's 20$ in international priority arimail

and now it's the same price,no change.

If the shipping cost is equal to the price of the product is just expensive.

(I'm talking about the first option of shipping)

If you order many things, then its just ok.

But when you order 2-3 sets is expensive.

If a US Co. buys their shipping on line , rates for an envelope or small package
more than doubled as of jan 27th
base rate for int. is now over $6.00. for 1oz . just over a year ago in was under $2.00

If i have to pay for a package of D' Addario J45 5.69$ (nice price) and then three times up (13.45$) for shipping cost, sorry not for me.

Maybe somewhere else...

Don't tell me that if the price was still 9.45$ you'd have found it reasonable?
I don't get how this could be considered a good deal if you order only 1 set. Not to mention the environmental issues of it

I dont calculate like you said.

First you check out with one set and then you see (depends how many sets you will order) how the shipping cost increase.

You see other shops charge you one specific amount, even if you order 50 sets!

I dont want to mention you one, because someone will say that this shop is mine!

Unfortunately this shop hasnt this variety as StringsByMail.

But thats ok. I'll use another brand of strings!

StringsByMail is best for me too.... but...

I've never played a Lazarides guitar.

Even if his workshop is very close to me.

I've heard the best for his guitars and when i got the money I'll have a full opinion about his work.

"Yes the USPS has raised the rates over the weekend and that is the best price we can offer at this time. We are working on trying to find a way to lower the cost."

Its not that bad if you just buy a box of 10 sets.

It just sucks if you want to try out lots of different brands
one by one.
