Serranitos guitar

In this clip Serranito plays a guitar with a special soundhole design.

Does anyone know the luthier? Thx in advance.

Don't know. As far as I know he used to play classical guitars.
I never liked that mushy sound.

I think he has gone over to a guitar style that he likes to promote, but to me, he has lost a certain sound that is characteristic of flamenco. The bass booms too much and and the sound gets lost inside the box; no cutting edge.

A flamenco guitar can have a deep bass but with a cutting edge, not with a mushy sound. All in all, the sound seems to run together rather than having enough separation of the notes, and I think this happens with this kind of guitar.

Oscar Herrero (hard to recognize) is playing at the far left with a guitar of the same maker. You can identify the guitar from the Headstock

That happens on most classicals if you play flamenco on them. So does anyone know if that's a classical guitar?
