Groove and time keeping exercise by ... 

No flamenco, no guitar but I'm sure it is interesting for you guys.
This guy is a monster bass-player and it's quite interesting what he says about groove and time kepping (which is a neverending topic for flamenco-guitarists )

Great find jof……its not rocket science to see the relationship to understanding the inner pulse and time keeping in flamenco.

I find this is a useful metronome for these type of exercises:

http://www.webmetronome.com/

Most don't go below 30bpm, this goes down to 1bpm.


e.g. For bulerias at 216 bpm
I start metronome at 108bpm for click on 12,2,4,6,8,10
then at 36bpm for click on 12,6
18bpm for click on 12
9bpm for click for every other 12.
