Hello, Britguy, Perhaps the best selection of flamenco CDs in the U.S. is found right here in the Washington, DC area in two venues. A gentleman named Guillermo Juan Christie owns and operates both of them. The Guitar Gallery, located in Washington, DC, has a good selection of flamenco CDs. Phone No. (202) 244-4200. Guillermo also owns and operates the Flamenco Connection, a strictly online emporium that you can look up and order on its website: "The Flamenco Connection." It is possible that you can call the Guitar Gallery and order from the Flamenco Connection inventory, as Guillermo runs both. I have purchased CDs featuring Sabicas, Nino Ricardo, Ramon Montoya, and others from Guillermo, as well as cantaors Fosforito, Santiago Donday, and others. If you talk to Guillermo, tell him Bill (the guy who is always traveling abroad) said hello. Cheers, Bill

Do call, Britguy, either at the Flamenco Connection or Guitar Gallery. At either one, especially if you talk to Guillermo Juan Christie, he really is knowledgeable about flamenco guitarists and cantaors, and he knows his stock. He will be a big help, particularly if you are interested in more traditional flamenco (as I am). I had been trying to locate a CD by Nino Ricardo for a long time, and he had one. Cheers, Bill
