Hi! I have just started learning flamenco guitar and am finding it to be one of the most fascinating things I've ever done. Hoping to learn more about playing as well as the care and maintenance of my guitar and eventually meeting other people for get togethers and gigs! I am also new to playing music in general :)

Greetings Melbourne-ians. Some great performers in your city. Great place to be. Several of us here from Australia. After 18 years in Melbourne I've spent the last decade in Adelaide.
Foro is a great place. Learnt a lot over a could of years here....so well resourced particularly in the search ..... Ate some popcorn along the way.... Enjoy

No - this is my first time playing a guitar. I am learning a sevillanas and a solea too! I'm really enjoying it. I was trying to convince some friends for New Year that we should have a flamenco party but so far I'm the only one keen on it - lol.

welcome mate.. if you don't have a teacher yet. there is an AWESOME guitarist in Melbourne, right up to the levels of the great players in spain called Richard Tedesco. this is his website www.kanela.com.au/arte-kanela

thanks! I already have a teacher who I'm very happy with but it is always nice to meet new people and expand horizons! I am totally dying to go to the restaurant but my boyfriend is not so keen on Spanish food or flamenco.
