RE: Manuel Rodriguez/Manual Adalid/HSL (in reply to NewPlayer)
In 2009 I bought a Manuel Adalid Viviana blanca for US$2,500, and I think it is as good an instrument as exists for that price. It is light-weight, has a good set-up, and sounds muy flamenco. I went to Zavaleta's in Tucson, Arizona personally to see James Greenberg, the owner of Zavaleta's, and try out guitars. I was prepared to consider more expensive instruments, but the Manuel Adalid Vivana blanca was the best deal for the money.
Cheers,
Bill

Would you recommended spending 1-1.5k more on a used Ramirez 1a?
Haha I have one and if you have any possibility to get a Ramirez 1a, do it. GREAT instruments in my opinion. All their guitars from between 1960 and ~ 1990 that I tried were great.

You should consider a Franciso Navarro Grand Concert as well - same price range as those you listed. I have a 2012 Navarro Concert Flamenco - it is awesome.
