Hey there! Quick self introduction, My name is Alejandro and am from Melbourne. Been playing guitar since I was about 17, am 33 now, and was fortunate enough to be able to gig quite a bit with some extremely cool players here when i was starting out so i feel very lucky to have been in that position because it helped me so much. Then I began playing on the streets here and still do quite often, doing mostly rumbas, sneak the odd buleria in there when it feels right and what ever flamenco gigs swing our way. Anyways, enough said about me, hope everyone here is well. Cheers! -Alejandro

Welcome to the foro. Its interesting how the flamenco and thus gets more and more international. I have a feeling that flemenco is growing much outside Spain than in its motherland, where I actually have a feeling its going the other way.

Hola Alejandro and welcome!
There's a lot of Aussies here actually.....I feel like they're nearly evenly represented with us Americans and we've got over 10X the population. You guys dig your Flamenco down there, I should go visit some day.
