I have at the moment 2 or 3 vinyls to clean, instead of buying a bottle of specialized products, is there anything I can use from home which is sort of equivalent like LCD screen cleaner, or Kodak/Tiffen camera lens cleaner (basically water and ammonium carbonate)? I'm not aware of the ingredients.

Dishsoap / water is the right mixture. Use a soft ( worn out) dish washing foam for a gentle but thorough cleaning by gently touching along the grooves. Just make sure to not wetten the paper label. Rinse with clear water. ( Should you have destilized water at hand that would be best, naturally, but it can be done without too.) Hang the disks up vertically by their center hole for the solution to run off and dry.

Thanks, I just tried Kodak lens cleaning fluid, it's no use, a track by Marchena (Por Taranta) repeating itself in a loop. It's not dramatic, it's an old vinyl Antologia De La Guitarra Flamenca with Cano, Maravilla, Martinez etc. Just need to wait for a cheap secondhand to come up.
