who is this guy?
He's better known in the classical guitar world but he's been doing flamenco guitars for a while too. He's sort of a working-man's luthier. His prices are more affordable.

How does he build all these 15 guitars until June (in 2 months) ?
These were started a number of months ago and they are reportedly fully-assembled and just need finishing.
Down to 8 left. I'm debating whether to get one. I don't think I deserve anything better than my Yamaha yet. It's tempting since he normally sells these for $2500.

I looked around. It looks like they sell for about $1900. So the discount is really closer to 33%.

Does anyone has a video or an audio of the flamenco guitars?
I just could find some classical guitar videos on youtube from him. Without having seen or heard flamenco guitars from him, it is a bit risky to order.
Another question: does he also ship internationally? (like to Germany)
And another question: do you think that all these guitars are built with the same attention and the same woods quality as if he was building them in the past for 2500 $ ?
This ebay offer would be about 900 Euros for me which would be also interesting!

Don't forget you'll probably (almost definitely) have to pay import duty/ tax on it. In the UK at least I think that will add about 18-19% to the price.

... Did that help or hinder your decision??!!
yeah , i considered this after posting, still the offer is good.
But now i am thinking about to wait .....maybe we will have more such offers this year due to bad economic situation....thats a little mean to think like this, but hey, i am suffering very much too in my job (which is dealing with steals etc.)..... and everyone wants to make a good deal....so..

I recall reading that his guitars are warranted for only 90 days for splits and cracks in the wood. I checked his site and could not find a statement about this again. If I was considering buying a guitar from Hippner I would ask about this policy first.

I don't know, and I cannot and will not speak for Hippner. But I can tell you that it's certainly possible for a luthier to achieve a higher-than-average level of production by using as many pre-made parts as possible. For instance, if you use pre-made necks, that alone speeds up production significantly.

Perhaps he has a few aprentices or employee's i guess 3-4 people could make that happen? how else could he comment on not making much money and having a turnover of about $100,000
"The current wait period for a Darren Hippner Guitar is 6-8 months. Standard models start at $2,500 and deluxe at $3,500 with additional options available." This is a Grand Concert Model with striking custom "Conde Orange" finish and black golpeadores" (Quoted from Darren's Website) Specs: Spruce top, Cypresss sides, Port Orford back, Ebony fingerboard with reinforced Cedar neck. This guitar has a complex array of tones and can be used for multiple styles of playing. It has an internally repaired/reinforced crack on the treble side of the lower soundboard which is stable but noticeable in certain light due to a thin bead line of glue which was squeezed out while during the repair. Offers/trades considered. As I mentioned the color is stunning, especially with the custom black tap plates.
