Prog rock throwback

Not flamenco, but check out this tune.

Allan Holdsworth on guitar.

Yeah I ve got this from my Jazz rock days ... I still have a lot of Alan holdsworth stuff , right back to soft machine ..his modern stuff with the synthAxe is really incredible.........
best one is metal fatigue , and temporary fault ......you should be able to find it on line easy enough ...

I'm well acquainted with Metal Fatigue, I'll check out Temporary Fault.

I just threw in Holdsworth coz we're a bunch of guitarists here, but the rest of the band (Buford) is killer as well. I love the singer (she's not on the tune above). But as long as we're talking about Holdsworth, here's another awesome track...

Nice catch. Bill Bruford was KC's drummer.

Not a fan of cubism?

I just thought "would I ever put my name on this and use it as an album cover"?

The answer was "#$%& NO!"

It might be less known here that David Cross of King Crimson was in our band. Here he is on violin. I am on bass. More post-industrial than prog I am afraid.

We got to gig with some interesting people - Sonic Youth, Green on Red, Hüsker Dü, The Shamen, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Echo and the Bunnymen, Niko etc. Not bad for an old prog rocker who was guilty of many, many Nursery Crymes

It grows on you Sadly, it's about the rape of a friend of ours at the time, hence the discordance.

I'm a fan of Bruford, Holdsworth and KC, and I also like some post rock/post punk stuff like Magazine and that ilk, so this thread is all in the green. :)

Very cool to have had a member of KC in your band.
The song, even with the challenging discordance, doesn't sound too difficult for my ears. What became of the band?
