What's on this.. hmm...Conde?

On the topic "Jazz Guitar Progression materials for the flamenco guitarist"
there's a video posted and here's a screen grab from it.
Just wondering what is the thing I circled? Looks too even to be part of a autograph.

cheers

That's the EQ of the built in electronics/preamp. You can see it better on these videos.

Had to be a custom job done later. My friend pulled the godin guts and had to cut similar slots for the electronics to fit in his flamenco guitar. The reason was because godin was a midi guitar and he could trigger the synths and stuff with foot peddals and still retain the nice feel of a flamenco guitar. It was great, but the guitar got damaged later.

I was in the Conde shop some years ago and saw some of these guitars, still unfinished. One of the brothers told me they were prototype MIDI guitars which they were considering making.

So this could well be original: perhaps a future collector´s item

What???? You mean they actually had unfinished guitars in the actual shop? Damn, it almost sounds as if...as if....they might actually BUILD guitars????

No, those're just mock UGs (unfinished guitars), mass produced in China.
That way customers'll believe they're in a REAL workshop
