This september I plan to go there. Anyone gonna be around? I've already had very good experiences in Carmen de las cuevas somewhere around 2002 september, with Alfredo Mesa, in a group for 2 weeks. I've learned a lot, from my groupmates as well. Great memories.
Since my time is short - just one week I tought I may get the most out of it via private lessons.I browsed through the foro and found some info but I'd appriciate if somebody who has much fresher experiences with the school than me would share their experiences about the teachers available?
I got a kind reply from them, presenting some names as example but I also know that Emilio Maya is also there, isn't He? Jorge “El Pisao”, Rubén campos and Marcos Palometas, Antonio Heredia Does anybody had lessons with any of them?
Emilio and Jorge are great but I only had them in the regular classes, not in private classes.
After my time at Carmen I went to a really great teacher for a month for private classes, Alberto is his name. Kate can forward you his contact details.
I will be in Spain from July to August, going to Sanlucar and then doing Amir John Haddad's workshop near Granada. There is a chance I might stick around a few weeks after that, and if so I would stay in Granada, but I don't know for sure yet.
