I like the sound and playability of the Savarez Alliance 540R set, especially the trebles, but as many mention, the basses went dead very fast...any suggestions for basses (any brand) that would balance well with the KF Alliance trebles and last longer? I have read about various combos, but not with these trebles. Thanks!
RE: Basses (other) with Savarez Alli... (in reply to TintoDV)
I used Alliance bass strings and they lasted very well. However, I now use the Savarez Corum basses with the Alliance trebles. The Corum basses last very well, are more flexible and have a better defined tone for me.
