Camaron y Paco

I wonder why there's only one recording of Camaron y Paco together, or do you know of any other? But somehow it's ok, because it doesn't get better then this i.m.o.. Cante and guitar in perfection, if it can exist. Dialogue of two souls of art, look at their expressions. Every time I look at it give me goosebumps. Wished to be a poet to describe it acceptably...

Camarón and Paco recorded tons together. Paco was the guitarist on every album Camarón put out in the 70s except La Leyenda del Tiempo (true, most of them are called "El Camarón de la Isla con la colaboración especial de Paco de Lucía," but they actually are different! ) and played with Camarón and Tomatito on most of Camarón's albums in the 80s. There aren't many Camarón recordings - and he recorded a ton - that don't have Paco on them.

We talked about this a lot in the past. Paco became quite embarrassed
to perform as an accompanist in public after started getting famous.
He felt his job was to be behind the singer and make him or her look
Like the star, but a time came he got more accolades for his
Falsetas then the singer and it really bothered him.

Here for example At 5:20 to 5:43 Camaron sings his heart out and the audience cheers,
But then Paco fires off that picado and the people go nuts. Truth is Paco might have
Been a greater guitarist then Camaron a singer... So in his role as back up it was
A problem for both. To make it easy you don't see pdl accompany Camaron nor another great singer
Other then his brother for many years and this was pdl's personal choice.
