manuel valencia

couple of videos. The buleria has been posted before, but Its one of my favourites and has some amazing compas strumming so here it is again.

In the moment hes one of my favourite players. Good soloist and interresting accompanist.

yup, had the pleasure of taking a lesson with him in jerez, covered alot fo traditional falsetas in a short period of time. great teacher as well, he can play the phrases back super slow.

lucky you! I would also like to take some lessons from him. Was it some work shop, or did you just contact him for the lessons?

via facebook, I will say it was worth every penny, got alot of questions answered and bucketfull of falsetas por solea por buleria in the 1.5hr class i had. if i had more money to spare would have taken a few more.

Manuel Valencia will be playing on the California Central Coast with Manuel Agujetas in May (San Francisco and Santa Cruz). An amazing evening for us over here. They are both among my very favorite performers (if you permit the term :-b).

I can't wait!!!!!!

Manuel Valencia will teach a guitar master class in Northern California while he is here in May. Please let me know if you can attend. We are considering a two-day class in Berkeley on Sunday, May 13 and Monday May 14 and a one day workshop in Santa Cruz on Weds May 16.

The concerts, featuring Manuel Agujetas accompanied by Manuel Valencia are on Tuesday, May 15 in Santa Cruz; Friday May 18 in Los Angeles; Sunday May 20 in Berkeley; and on Tuesday the 22 in NYC.
