I have this same DVD. It's good. Not $810 good but good. What's funny is that there are 17 bids! I think I'll put mine up for bid. I'll start it at $310 with a buy it now for $500. Now THAT is a steal. Why pay $810 when you can get it for $500.
I also have a piece of pizza with what appears to be the likeness of Moses. If a grilled cheese sandwich that has the likeness of our Holy Mother can go for thousands on ebay, I figure Moses can get me something.
I think I paid about 25 bucks for my copy. Man, if I had known how valuable it was, I would have bought more. But the problem is, mine is just regular old "Flamenco".
You once said you were a "Flamengo" guitar player. I bet your DVD would by worth at least 200 bucks!
I think people are just jacking with this seller. One of the bidders has put multiply bids starting from $100 to $800. I'm serious. If this thing sells, mine will be up next week
I stay away from auctions. One experience I had was going to an office furniture store to check out what was available for my new office at work some 20 years ago. NCR was having an auction of used and abused office furniture in a building down the street from my new office. People bid and paid more for used furniture than the price for new equipment. Such is life!
I have had a lot of fun and made some pretty good buys via auction. The trick is to do your homework to determine a fair value and hold to that price. I never get caught up in bidding wars. If the price exceeds my maximum, so be it, I'm out.
Before this Ebay business, you could get bootleg vids and stuff for free or by trading. That is how I got the majority of stuff I have. Now w/ Computer technology, we can copy stuff without loss of quality, and a blank disc or whatever is really cheap.
I have this concert, so if anyone wants a copy I will send you one free. But maybe you have something I don't have...you know?
Some of you guys are saying that this brand new concert vid made last year is available in stores. Sure you are not confusing it w/ another DIFFERENT one? How about a link?
