If you want to know how all the elements of flamenco dance interact with each other, then this is your opportunity to learn!! "El Baile" is a lecture demonstration in which artists will analyze every aspect of flamenco choreography — from the lyrics and rhythms of the singer to the structure of the guitar harmony and the footwork. Alegrias, Tientos/Tangos, Solea/Bulerias and other flamenco styles will be covered. Handouts with lyric translations and explanations of the structure of each style will be given to the audience. Presentations will be casual, fun and interactive where audience members will be encouraged to participate.
