meant the fee Paco is charging the promoter...

When I first saw £40 a ticket, I thought " What the F***?".
But actually, I heard a couple of weeks ago that U2 were doing a tour and that tickets for their concert in Manchester were £70!
So what's that all about then?
Man...do these guys actually need the money?
Or is it just some prestige game of numbers?
Like some ass**le of a football player here who was on the news, complaining that he was unhappy with his pay and needed it upped to £80,000 per week.
Jesus! That's over ten grand a day for just getting out of bed!

I don't know amigos, the insanity in this world is slowly overtaking me now and I can't really keep up with it like I used to..

So maybe Paco's £40 a seat gig isn't so bad after all....I think he's pretty well set up, but he's no Elton John or Paul McCartney...and there are the other guys in the band to pay as well...

Hey Nigel (El Ratón de Watford), wouldn't it be easier for you to go to Paco's concert in London?
Or is it the call of the hills and the heather that attracts you?

cheers

Ron

Rob, lo siento.

My guess £26000.

Whats the prize? An hour lesson with PDL?

Double it! I'm not joking.

Prize? A deep-fried Mars Bar...

Ron, It is the call of the subtle scottish sense of humour I work from time to time in Glasgow and Edinburgh so luckly I can combine business with pleasure. Despite the England/Scotland abuse we love one another deep down - I think it is the island mentality. I have a few really good Scottish friends and am even rated in Edin as a hibs supporter (one match in four years but we did beat Celtic 2-1). And Rafael keeps telling me I must meet you and Jim so this sounds like a good opportunity.

Also London may have a bigger venue and possibly cost more. I only go to London once a year for my Clapton pilgrimage.

El Oud as for more than £50000 is he a footballer?? But I just have to see the guy once. If I was nearest to the fee I would accept your deep fried Mars bar, sounds delicious.
