Maissam and Jason are working to resolve these issues.
You could pay a LOT more for something that sounds a lot more stiff and goes, "beep, beep,BEEP,beep, beep,BEEP,beep,BEEP,beep" and is not nearly as fun to practice with. Once you hit the start button and begin to play your guitar or dance, the language button isn't of much significance. The crashing is however serious and will be addressed quickly. The release of iOS5 caused problems with a lot of apps. Most companies making apps as complex as this have an entire department of people working on it. This is just 2 guys and it was put together on iOS 4. iOS 5 was a major change in terms of features and compatibility. No need to worry they are on it. It is however strange that here in the SF Bay area it doesn't seem to crash except for sometimes on first launch.

This app never crashes when it completes loading, without exception.
The crashing only occurs sometimes when you try to first load the app, and then all you have to do is try a second time to load it and it loads perfectly fine and there is no more problem after that. Of course this is annoying, and we are working on fixing this, as the iOS 5.0 update screwed a lot of things up. However, it doesn't affect the function of Doctor Compás in the slightest, so it is a minor issue.
The language setting is chosen by the default language setting of your phone. It's just that when you start it up, the "Start" is always in Spanish, which is just something we overlooked and will modify immediately.
We're sorry about the issues, but the iOS 5.0 update and the need to make a Spanish version (given the staggering number of Spanish people who are downloading the app daily) gave Doctor Compás some minor annoyances that we are in the midst of dealing with. Dealing with Apple and the iPhone is not easy as they are constantly changing and updating things, making earlier versions of things nearly incompatible.
