How to fit a tap plate?

Hi I'm new to the forum!

...and sorry i posted this in the General section first but thought this would be more appropriate

I have just got a Francesico B40 F Flamenco guitar and I have got a Tap plate....

Anyone got any tips where to cut?

http://s396.photobucket.com/albums/pp42/dean1982/?action=view¤t=IMG_0691.jpg

Do i cut around the soundhole or around the pattern section?

Just thinking if i every need to take it off the pattern will not come off if cut around it but it may not look as good.??

What does everyone else do?

Also do i leave the size of it how it is?

This is a flamenco guitar so my guess would be just to leave it?
