And when we asked him to play that he only played the first half and than pretended that he forgot the rest!!! bastard! hahah

I'd say its Tanguillos/Zapateados. (based only on the rhythm of course. Dont know what makes a Tanguillos besides the rhythm)

thats not fair, everything can be called bulerias

tangos is just bulerias in 2s.
theres two things why i think this might be a specific palo instead of "something in 3s". one is his foot tapping, two there are these sections like 0:35 that rhythmically sound like typical for tanguillos to me.

When's this guy going to release a CD? He's a great player, and he's been around long enough. Same with Antón Jiménez.

Anton Jimenez has a CD out. Its awesome.

I also really hope for a CD from Daniel Mendez. I was flashed for 2 years when I met him.. really awesome player with great ideas.

I went to an Ojos de Brujo concert a couple of weeks ago, and was surprised to see Dani Mendez playing with them!

He has 3 CDs out right now... well I think so.. one for sure.. I own that one.. the others were on spotifz for some time but I cant find em there anzmore...

Zou can contact him via facebook and get the stuff from him directlz I guess... I mailed with him in past. mz kezboard sucks todaz...

Yep! Thats were I listened to his music first time. Nueva reinas is the first complete album he recorded entirely himself playing. It also contains the remade spb from la nueva escuela de la guitarra flamenca. The other 2 CDs are also very nice.
