Hey everyone, All my orders right now are for blancas, and I am itching to build a negra. So I have dropped my price for negras from $2900 to $2600. PLUS if you would like a cedar top negra, I can do it for $2400 (limited time only of course). Current wait time is til around March 2012 for a new order. So call now!!!
RE: Lowering my price for Negras (in reply to Andy Culpepper)
Too bad that the majority out there who obtain their guitars from shelves in music stores are not aware of that instruments of same price yet worlds apart in character and quality can be had from you guys.
Otherwise you ( and meanwhile apparently a not too small bunch of your little-known but very capable colleagues ) would be drowned in orders.
Marketing often means deceive and manipulation, but at times it could be just very useful information of benefit to both maker and customer.
I´m fancying ... If you guys could be gathering nationally for just a single TV clip with say a guy in a lively club atmosphere trickling a rasguado, underlined by a comment to the extend of "If you want to experience a handcrafted flamenca, yet equally priced to mediocre student level serial production in your local music store, be in for a thrilling discovery at www.luthiermade.net ", a hypothetical website featuring from all of you, mp3s, pictures, specs and prices ... And you could be keeping up standards, checking out samples of further contenders who would be wanting to join the guild, contributing humble fees for then yet another broadcast of the ad ... .
I know, just fantasy bubbles in a recession with many out of budget. But, I´m convinced that yet, such should pay many a times.

Hey Britguy, I'm in Ithaca NY (finger lakes region). It would be great if you could make it down here. I have Indian Rosewood, Palo Escrito, Pau Ferro, I think one set of Padauk, and some Brazilian. Plus some other stuff like Bubinga, Black acacia, etc...

Ithaca! Wow!
For years I've been buying my baby fruit trees from Jim Cummins Tree Nursery in Ithaca. I pick them up at his house in Geneva. Excellent high-quality stock, and great service.
If your guitars are of equal quality I might just try to find time to make the trip down there before going South this winter? If not, then maybe in March/April.
