Producing simple tab on your computer

Does anyone know of a simple program to input and print tab? Clearly tabedit can do it but is there anything much simpler? The need is to produce printed tab. No need for the computer to play it, transcribe it, mince it, convert it into hungarian, ......

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for that Henrik. It is a great program but this is for a flamenco with many years of experience (tactful eh!) who only uses tab and doesn't like computers. He doesn't use standard notation and only wants tab to print examples of falsetas for his students.

As he puts it "I just need six lines". Just hoped someone might have a little student program or something. I guess in this world ruined by Bill Gates the word simple has been long ago lost. C'est la vie

Henrik, he is giving Powertab a go and I have tried it and you certainly can simply enter numbers on the tab and print. Possible once tried it will do the job for him. I hope so.

If that fails I will offer your suggestion of simply printing tab lines and then filling them by hand.

By the way I liked your tangos and would certainly like a tab when and if you get time. I started on Solea but have certainly made more progress with Tangos. It seems easy to get reward from tangos and for those of us in the early stages I think rewards are necessary. I have no idea what the drop out rate is of people who start learning flamenco but I bet it is quite high. Disfrutas mi amigo

Ratón..sorry I mean Nigel LOL!
Yeah I bet it's pretty high amongst a lot of folk.
Myself, I was playing folk/blues back in the late 60's when I heard Flamenco.
I thought I'd try and learn a few "licks" of this Spanishy stuff....and ended up getting addicted.
Sure, I've never been a "serious" player, and had to stop playing altogether for years and years, just due to jobs and life etc.
But it's always been in the background as the best music I've ever heard.
It's the stuff that I relate to the most.
I took the guitar up again five years ago, and reckoned that of all the things I've done, learning Flamenco guitar was the most challenging and enjoyable.
I wish I'd spent more time on it now, rather than on silly things like earning money, which in retrospect, never really brought me anything at all LOL!
You know, that's the big difference I find between the Classical players and the Flamenco players....
The Classical players are always so well balanced and sensible....
Dis' Flamenco is a DRUG man!!

cheers

Ron
