Juan Salvador

hello foro,

I have recently bought a Flamenco guitar from the El Mundo guitar shop in London. It is a plug in Flamenco guitar called a Juan Salvador.

The label says ELEC FLA C1P. Granada.

I paid more than £1000 but I hesitate to put the actual price.

I had to buy something in a hurry as my 1971 Francisco Barba was damaged at a festival and I was booked for a tour around Aus, and now EU.

I am happy with the guitar as it has a good pickup installed. A fishman pro blend.

The reason I am writing to you is because I can't find ANY information about the guitar and have had no reply (just yet) from El Mundo with any further details.

Apparently the guitar's back and/or sides are graphite re-inforced for extra support/ stiffness. I see this as a good thing as I tour quite a lot and have lost 2 guitars recently to damage. the other was a Pedro Maldonado. : (

If anyone has any idea where this guitar comes from I would very much appreciate the information.

Cheers
