Oasis Humidifier Problem

Been using the original "blue" oasis for some years. Works fantastic.

Got a second guitar and purchased a new Oasis only these come with a brown/maroon colour fabric. The Oasis website says they have a shortage of blue fabric.

Anyhow, it doesn't work as advertised ... its supposed to shrivel up as it dries but it doesn't, just stays the same round shape even after dry.

So if anyone is going to buy one these try looking for the original "blue" model.
The new brown ones have some issues ... there are some similar threads on the Acoustic Guitar Forum too.

I have one of those as well and it works fine...i guess you had bad luck with that one

Maybe I got a bad one.
But there have been some threads about this on Acoustic Guitar forum too so I think the new batch may have some quality issues.

The retailer will not take it back or replace it because I never kept the packaging or receipt as I didn't think I would have any problems.

I contacted the Oasis manufacturer but never received a reply .... so its terrible customer service.
That really rubs me the wrong way, a manufacturer shoudl stand behind their product.
