Conde Strings Split!

I just received an email from StringsByMail about when are they going to have any Conde Hermanos strings. Here is their answer:

"The Conde Hermanos string company has split into to different string manufactures. The two lines are now going to be called Filepe Hermanos and Mari Hermanos."

I believe all the strings are personally handwound by both Luthiers....

Felipe winds them clockwise and Mario uses the same material, but winds them anti-clockwise.

I believe there is a difference in attack, playability and "jondo-ness".

(Pays your money and takes your choice IMO...)

But if I wanted to really sound like Paco, then I'd choose ******* (name withheld
in support of ForoFlamenco neutrality on these matters... )

cheers,

Ron

Felipe does the strings from the nut to the 12th fret and Mari does the strings from the 12th fret to the saddle.

Anyway, a friend of mine has used Mari's strings and are pretty familliar with Conde's ones.

Does that make a difference if you play the guitar left handed?

Same strings no doubt, just depends who you'd rather give your money to.
