Guitar Pro question

I have an old copy of Guitar Pro 4, and have been wondering about upgrading it.
Is it worth going to version 6? That much of an improvement. Please bear in mind that I don't write my own music

RE: Guitar Pro question (in reply to Martin

I think the answer depends on how you use the software.

I enter didactic material that I don't have CD's for into guitarpro so that I can get a better idea of how the material is supposed to sound. Then I use the speed trainer to help me practice and improve my speed.

Version 6 seems to have a lot more improvements in terms of Realistic Sound Engine and user interface. I was really overwhelmed at first but now I can enter a score / tab with no problems at all. Guitarpro really helped me understand notation... the rhythm and all those strange symbols.
