I've just booked to go as well.
For anyone who doesnt know Sanlucar is the Gerardo Nuñez/ Carmen Cortes course.
Its a full on intense week of classes and fiesta and also the time you are most likely to meet all the forum members too.

Harold and I are thinking of taking a trip to see you all and also going to catch up with friends in Jerez. All depends on what is happening in the studio and with Harold's music projects. If not we hope to see some of you herein Granada

Oh, man, I just read the thread about 2010.

Pimientito said that it STARTED in Puebla de Cazalla with the big show featuring Moraito, Jose Merced, etc...at the Hacienda.

Ironically enough, I attended that show, then at about 7 AM, took a shuttle to the airport with my wife and left Spain.

I just cancelled my hotel reservation :( I just can't come up with the cash in time...really thought I was finally gonna make it this year. I'm starting to get really depressed about it now. Someone please assure me that it'll still be going for awhile. If I miss the opportunity to meet and study with Gerardo, I'll never forgive myself!!!

Sorry for the people who can't make it! I'm sure this course in Sanlúcar will go on for quite a while, I think it's already the 21st edition this year?
(Henry, why's it going to be your last for quite some time?)

I am getting quite excited, also because the two other dancers from my group Expeditie Flamenco might be joining me this year! Also, Peter van Bulck (a Sanlúcar veteran, also in the Expeditie) will be there after sadly missing two years in a row.

Already started working on some cante por tangos and bulerías, for moments when there's no real singer around :)

Still in doubt though, dance, cante or cajón class...
