I knew the original "Girlfriend" by Alicia Keys. This remake really flashed me pretty hard i must admit. It is such a smooth fit, all the instruments together, the palmas, the chords. The break at 1:44 is unbelievable. The way he comes back in at "thing". I could probably go on forever counting the reasons why i like this. Musicality like this always reminds me how irrelevant all this theory producing about duende and cante is (to me)(im not meaning the cante itself). To be honest i feel lucky that im inspired by so much music. You can bet im having a great time with it, which is in the end what music should be about, regardless of style, culture, whatever (IMO).

Ps: The cymbals crack me up each time
