Felipe V Conde Bros. Split !???? 
Hi all;
El~Kabong! here!
I've been away from the flamenco scene for awhile now. Taking a break as it were...
I just noticed recently that Felipe & Mariano Conde have split up. What happened ? Does anyone out there have the "The Facts" ? ( I've heard a few different versions of what happened?...)
Hard to believe that the "Conde Dynasty" seems to be crumbling...

Yes, the brothers have parted company. No big deal. So now we have four Conde shops in Madrid. Gimme a break already.
The whole "Conde dynasty" thing has been little more than a smoke and mirrors con job for years now. What a joke.

The 'smoke & mirrors' thing has always been an issue with the Condes; ( unfortunately). Even with Faustino himself in his Gravina 7 shop way back in the 1970's. I think it was even more so with the FelipeV shop & astronomical prices to boot!
So yeah, just what the world needs now: 4 Conde shops. I sort of feel badly for them, but the writing seems to be on the wall for them...
The "Dynasty" truly is crumbling....

Dynasty was a TV show in America in the 1970's starring Larry Hagman as the evil J. R. Uwing.

There was a time when I watched no TV for at least a year. None at all. Then I sat down with my teen age daughter to watch Dallas. About seven minutes in I got up and started to walk out. My daughter said, "Dad! It's only a TV show."

i said, "I may have known one person as mean as J.R. Maybe two. But they always looked scared."
