International shipping - Canada to D...

I'm looking into shipping a guitar from Canada to Denmark, and I was wondering if anyone has experience shipping to this destination from the US or Canada. I'm looking into paperwork requirements and package size restrictions, but reading some of these regulations can make a person's head explode

So, any real world experiences to share? I have had lots of experience shipping to the US, including the new Lacey Act / APHIS form requirements.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

I don't have experience with Denmark specifically, but I have shipped things all over the world, with some countries having the same sort of restrictions.
It's usually best to use a courier company when it comes to a guitar... you do not want that guitar to spend 1 month in transit. If you go with FedEx/DHL/TNT/UPS etc, they'll take care of everything.
Otherwise, get the seller to organize a 'pick-up', it's less hassle for you.

Saludos
