I am so excited! Today I have my first ever sit in where I can join in accompanying a dance class!! I have been in touch with one of the guitarists since I started flamenco in the beginning of this year....he offered me to do this so I can learn. (if you read this, thank you so much, Eric!) This is gonna be a great chance to learn more outside of lessons and practicing at home.....exciting and a bit anxious as well.....wish me luck! :) Any advice???
wear clean underwear and prepare to be tested. if you can't dance a patada and play guitar por bulerias at the same time, the dancers will take turn impaling you with a trident.
good luck.
on a serious note, congrats, have fun, and good luck.

Hi Andy! It went great, actually! It was a beginners class and we just did a basic Tango. Which is good, cause basic is all I can do at the moment :) But it went great, I had a very good time and the guitarist who asked me to sit in told me he was impressed that I'm doing so well and asked me to sit in more often and to maybe become part of their 'group'...So I couldn't be more excited! Hopefully I can learn and play with them a lot more in the future!!
