Bach and Charlie Parker are not allowed here. Its a flamenco forum. Come on Kevin. You know the routine. Just keep posting countless questions about picados and fingernails and how to get a cheap guitar that sounds like an expensive one. The usual stuff. If you want to learn flamenco then any other music you try to learn about will only contaminate your efforts. I thought that was clear by now.

Different people different opinions.

Jason, you maybe didnt see this line. I was still editing my post when you typed your answer. I was still in the process of opinion-finding. I had just too fast fingers and posted a prototype kind of opinion. Here again my final decision:

Marija's playing in this video lacks awesomeness. I always want that in playing.
It sounds too refined also- theres no grit to her attack, and her alzapua at the
beginning doesnt use a thumb upstroke with the back of the nail.
