I'm back!

Granada province was a dream. The house is coming on; new paint and glass in the windows. Fantastic weather. I'll post a picture soon. Met up with Anders and Kate on Sunday and we went for a walk in the orange and lemon groves. Anders' guitars are beautiful and a great price. I want his peg head but no tengo los dineros.

He played at my local bar for a bit at lunchtime. The owner wondered if he could get a house guitar for about 100 Euros! I have been bugging him to buy one but he was rather taken aback by the price of a hand-made example.

Ron, I need your address for the Ducados - no flamenco knick-knacks though, I am afraid.

Talk again soon, time for bed.

Simon

Welcome back, senor. Ron and I were up against it, trying to keep these wild natives from tearing each other apart, but it all worked out. :)

Well Simon

I think it was more fun to have you down there in Restábal, than here on my computer. So when are you comming back? I mean back home. Home is where the hart is. You can do the foroflamenco from Restábal.

To everyone I just say. The house is big. Not the prettiest, but still prettyer than mine and a whole lot better. The Village is authentic. People are nice. Landscape wonderfull. Oranges and tangerines are ready now (yummi)

Simon, you took the good weather with you. Its still sunny, but very cold with a killer wind from the north. So I'm going to do a bit of sitting with my guitar near the woodburner.

See you.

I was turning cold as I left yesterday, un frente frio arriving from the north. Nice to meet you, you are a fine guitarist (after only 3 years, self-taught!) and a guitarrero to watch out for. I look forward to giving you my commission for my "Ice Queen"

Hi Simon,

And getting colder. News headlines are predicting -14 degrees. Hope our man in the mountains has enough wood chopped

Good to see both you and Anders at the weekend. Its a lovely spot you are in surrounded by orange and lemon groves and they tasted so good.

Anders your guitar is beautiful. I'm sure you will do very well and get lots of commissions. That quality at those prices you should be in great demand. Hope Nimbus is behaving himself. Really enjoyed our day out walking.

Kate
