Yes, excellent (it's all Melchor de Marchena). That's too bad it's cut short! That first cante is actually bulería por soleá.

Yep...I also doubt that it is Antonio Rey playing there. He has not such a hammer kind of a nose..., has he?

When was it recorded? A. Rey got a rounder face lately..so if it is him..the video cant be new.

Check that starting at 4.10! Taranta..man..great playing.

These two shared a double-bill concert this year at the Festival de Jerez, in the Byass bodega. Antonio Reyes is a solid singer, he's got a great cd out called Viento Sur. I didn't know he played guitar too, but I shouldn't be surprised. Rancapino headlined at that show, he's still got a tremendous power in his voice when he reaches for it. Great performers, both.
