what is it all about ? 
ok last cheesy post for the month from me ...but its true

every now and then u do something that reminds you how important what we do is...and makes you the proud of what you do..and for me is tomorrow..

ive never done anything that i am so proud of and felled so good about..

Tomorrow i am playing at a charity for kids with cancer...i am really really looking forward to it

anyway i feel really proud about it...i thought id share...hope every now and then u guys use your powers for good and bring some joy for free to someone that needs it and to whom it means the world to

Ive have done a few in the past ...nursing homes, abused children, earthquake relief for Chile...etc..

anyway i am not mother Teressa or some kind of humanitarian...but every now and then i can pretend like i am ..(mostly to get laid)...but who cares...kids get a show and i get laid...everybody's happy

ok last paragraph was a joke .....unless i can make it true

Good on you Flo. I find that I play guitar the best when my "spiritual side" is healthy. Inspiring kids (and others) to love music that's something more organic than these pop bovine excrement stuff that we hear everywhere we go is something I'd like to do more and certainly my aim when I do end up getting some regular gigs.

Show them how much you love your music, and you'll teach them how to love life

And if you get laid while you're at it, everyone wins!

That's really great, Florian - in truth, we should all be doing a bit of this where we can. I played for a musician who had become bedridden a few years back and it was a great feeling.

its amazing...sometimes u do the nicely paid gigs to regular crowd and its ok all good but then u do it for a nursing home to old people to whom its an event and they dress up for it and have been excited about it all week ( and you haven't even warmed up or done anything special)...and they pay attention to every single thing you do...and when you leaving they surround you and all wanna talk to you and thank you etc... its humbling

and at times i have been less then excited about it...but i am always reminded at the end when i see how much it meant to them and how grateful they were to get it..


anyway thanks for indulging me and making me feel even better about tomorrow and good on those of you that have done the same...il stop now before i start singing we are the world
