Does anyone know what guitar this is? Its a guitar Adam del Monte plays. I like the wood, but also the bridgebone seems to be small pieces and I really like the rosette (if you can call it that way).

The six individual saddles are piezo pickups from a company called RMC.

Don't know (or care) who made it since it strikes me as very ugly and that is a terrible design for the head. Why weaken it for no reason?
In a moment of weakness we built a cutaway flamenco with that brand of pickup for a customer a few years ago. Its very difficult to get the action perfect when you can't adjust the saddle. We both agreed after that to build no more cutaways or electic guitars. I guess we're purists.

Good god I have to agree 100%. The bridge is a mess with the rounded off ends, the high back edge with no bone detailing and what looks like a terrible high action. The head is a total abomination. The golpe has no aesthetics to it what so ever. The bindings are way too big and I like mother of pearl in an acoustic rosette, but a flamenco? And then the neck detail at the sound hole. What’s that all about? I’ll pass thanks.
I've seen that headstock and rosette before. It's a high-end classical guitar that was featured in "The Classical Guitar Book" by Tony Bacon. It supposedly incorporated some experimental design elements. I can't remember who the luthier was.
The individual string saddle was probably adopted from John Gilbert's work. His son and successor, William Gilbert, uses a new design.
The guitar is made by Chris Carrington. He used to be in the Dallas area, not sure if he still is.

No probs Tom! It seems always looking for a balance between weight and strength isn't it.
A bit of an offsite question. I am talking with Geert (La Sonanta) now, to upgrade my HSL F03 negra to a Manuel Adalid Viviana Negra model, or the Francisco Navarro Negra. I've played the MA blanca with cedar top and was pleased with it, what about the Viviana Negra model?
EDIT: Oh sorry, I thought you were distributing this one also, but it was Zavaletas. But maybe you have some experience with it

He is a fine guitar players too. He played for years with al dimeola's group world sinfonia.
kozz, I have no experience with this model. If you do get a chance to try one out, let me know your thoughts about it.
No probs Tom, I'll let you know! Somewhere this month I will go to Geert and try Manuel Adalid Viviana Negra. I had played the FN Negra, but remember I found it very thin sounding. A nice oppertunity to try both again, and maybe has some others in a reasonable price range.
