It's always been residential and costs millions just for an apartment. Residents have included Gainsborough, Clive of India and Nicolas Cage John Cleese has recently moved in.
You can see glancing shrapnel marks in the foreground from WWII. Quite a lot in that part of town.

stunning picture, simon. What kind of equipment do you use?
Thank you, very kind. I use a Canon 550D (Rebel T2i in the US), which I bought for video but then got back into stills, and in these shots a Sigma 10-20mm EX lens. I toured the city today with a professional colleague who showed me what my camera could do (lots of buttons and menus). Here's another one I really like:

Clive of India
Oh God!....Lord Macauley's classic book, "Clive of India" was our English reader for two years at school!
Absolutely unforgettable....(for those 14 year olds who could remain awake)..
cheers,
Ron
PS: Lord Chesterfield's "Letters to his Son", is another rip-roaring book for those who have completed "Clive of India" and require further cerebral stimulation....

Them’s real purty pictures. I thought you feller’s might like to see the new high rise condo we and the misses just moved into. We hit the jackpot and got the one with the view on the top. On a clear day you can see the sanitation plant in Buford Springs.
